A Closer Look at the Muhle R41 Twist Razor

Unlike the original Muhle R41 and Muhle R41 Grande, which are three piece razors, the Muhle R41 Twist is a Two Piece Razor.  The top cap of the R41 Twist is removed by twisting the knob at the base of the handle rather than the razor disassembling into three separate pieces (the top cap, base plate, and handle)

The R41 Twist is a razor with a polished chrome finish and has a unique Open Tooth Comb head, which many consider to be an aggressive razor.  The handle of the R41 Twist is textured features the Muhle name etched on the collar.

The R41 Twist measures about 4.2 Inches from end to end with the handle measuring approximately 3.8 Inches From the bottom of the handle to the base of the razor head.

The Muhle R41 Twist weighed 2.8 Oz on our scale.  Compared to the Muhle R89 (original) Razor, the R89 measured about 3.75 Inches from end to end with a handle that measuring approximately 3.4 Inches from the end of the handle to the base of the razor head.  The R89 weighed in a 2.4 oz on our scale
